Teaching Art Around the World!
Daily I recognize how blessed I am to be living the
life that I lead. I am truly happy. It feels like
the next obvious step is to share it freely, often
and with reckless abandon! I strive to share my passion
for life and hard-earned wisdom beyond the confines
of my classes and lessons; but also through my art,
through my humor and through my abundant smile. Similarly
my desire is to teach beyond the confines of my local
radius and is paralleled by my ever-growing love of
ADVENTURE! I'm currently looking for funding to help
transform the following goals into realities:
* I have been invited to teach a week long art workshop
in a small school outside of Santiago, Chile.
* I am hoping to join documentary photographer Ansley
West and DIG (Development in Gardening) in Uganda
to paint educational murals with imagery and symbols
that teach about healthy food and gardening protocol
as well as teach art at the AIDS Hospitals and Orphanages
that Ansley and DIG are working with.
* I have also been invited to teach with Jim and Laura
Pettit in Ireland as part of their Art Missions Program.
Press in the Works:
HBO is currently working on a documentary about children
with learning differences and talents and will be
doing a segment about one of my private students who
I have been teaching for three years. They will be
filming us in March as we finish up the mural that
we've been working on for the past few months! I am
so honored to be a part of this!
I'm
teaching exciting Classes at Callanwolde Fine Arts
